Physics Requirement-2Data mining (?DST production)

• Taking into account of variety of physics goals of PHENIX, we assume 10 independent ?DST productions , which correspond to 10 different physics topics, are needed for each year and we can store the DSTs and micro-DST of half years ((150+45)/2=97.5TB) on Robot , then we need to access them in 10 days.

  • This requires I/O bandwidth of 112MB/s.
  • This requirement is very moderate . (In ROCOCO2 report, 1160 MB/s I/O throughput was assumed.)
